League Programs
The Ava Park office is preparing for its 7th and 8th grade winter basketball league. This is a five on five league and will consist of a girls and a boys bracket. Registration starts January 1 and will run through January 25. Games will be played on Saturday s at the middle school gymnasium with the first game starting on February 9th . The cost is $20 per player and forms may be picked-up and dropped off at the Ava City Utilities office, forms will also be handed out at local schools after the first of the year. Program: 5 on 5 Basketball 7th & 8th Grades
Program Description: Teams made up of five players compete in a four week season and one all day tournament. Tournament rankings are based on season play.
Time Frame: February 9th through the first week of March.
Participant Fee: $20
City Provides: Facilities, equipment, and score keepers
Participant Responsibilities: gym cloths and shoes
Awards: League winners will receive T-Shirts.

Program: Soccer (Spring and Fall) 3 years up to 8th grade
Program Description: Teams compete in a five week season followed by an all day tournament. Tournament rankings are based on season play.
Time Frame: (Spring) Mid March through April. (Fall) September through October Games are played on Saturdays.
Participant Fee: $20 per participant with a family cap of $50
City Provides: Facilities, equipment, and referees.
Participant Responsibilities: cleats, shorts and shin guards

Program: Baseball & Softball
Program description: Teams compete in a six week season after which an All-Star team will be selected from each age group 7 years and older.
Age Divisions: 5-6 yrs. T-ball (Co-ed)
7-8yrs. Pitching Machine ( Boys)
7-9yrs. Pitching Machine (Girls)
9-10yrs. Kid Pitch (Boys)
11-12yrs. Kid Pitch (Boys)
10-13yrs. Kid Pitch (Girls)
13yrs. Traveling league (Boys)
14-15yrs. Traveling League (Boys)
*Girls 7 yrs. and up will be playing with a softball.
Time Frame: Memorial Day through July 4th.
City Provides: Facilities, equipment, and umpires.
Participant Fee: $20 per participant with a family cap of $65
Participant Responsibilities: Glove, cleats, and baseball bat.
Awards: All participants receive trophies
